This almost falls under the category of non-news now, as the Saskatchewan Roughriders have confirmed the province's worst-kept sports secret. Brendan Taman has been picked to succeed Eric Tillman as General Manager of the green and white.
However, this next tidbit is kind of exciting. Head Coach Ken Miller will retain his coaching duties, but also becomes the Vice President in charge of Football Operations. I would assume that means Taman reports to Miller? Very interesting!
Also, I assume this means Miller will start grooming someone to take over as head coach in the next year or two. Paul LaPolice, perhaps?
