What a jerk!

I've decided Edmonton Oilers fans are right - Chris Pronger really is a dirtbag. That elbow to the head of Ottawa's Dean McAmmond in game three of the Stanley Cup final was a low-class move, and well deserving of the one-game suspension handed out by the NHL. That's twice in these playoffs Pronger has been suspended for this head-hunting antics. Between Pronger and Brian Burke, I may actually have to cheer for the Ottawa Senators to capture the Cup. Ouch. That hurt just to type that.

I think his star status has bought him some extra leeway. The thing is he is effective without that crap. Then you see what Alfredsson did to Neidermayer at the end of the second. He can put a puck in a tiny hole so you know he was trying to hit him. Geez, what if he had hit Neidermayer in the face, ala Scott Stevens??

What about Mcdonald and Penner. Two unwanted, undrafted guys carrying the Ducks to victory and likely the cup. Huskins played like a star, Maybe Pronger should stay out one more game huh!

I guess that shows how much the Ducks rely on Pronger - based on how the rest of the players elevate their games when he's out of the lineup.

I'll be happy to see guys like Getzlaf, Moen, Kunitz and McDonald carry the Cup. Pronger? Not so much.
