The end of the line?

I seriously hope the Regina Pats have more than one game left in them this season. The Pats host Medicine Hat tonight, and trail the Tigers 3-0 in their WHL playoff series. The Pats are coming off a heartbreaking 2-1 overtime loss in game three. At the very least, that game proved that Regina can compete with M.H. Hopefully the home team comes out flying and hitting tonight. I wonder if Mike Reich will be in the lineup tonight? I have a feeling the coaching staff has grown tired of his tendancy to take ill-advised (ie: dumb) penalties in crucial situations. But, we'll see.

Oh, and it's Friday the 13th. I hate Friday the 13th.

I hope your right Pete about more games. Odds are not in their favour. It is surprising to see how Reich has fallen out of favour with the Pats. Probably because of his drop in production as well as his PIM totals. I had some reservations about moving Duval becasue you just can't find his speed everyday. They could sure use that speed in this series..

Duval was going nowhere fast with the Pats. He seems to have gotten the message, though. He scored 18 goals for the Hitmen in the regular season, and has six points in eleven playoff games.

Reich, on the other hand, scored 15 times in 50 games for the Pats. But he was also a -4, and collected 155 penalty minutes. He has no points in three playoff games, with 12 penalty minutes and a -3 rating.
