Let's try that again

Thumbs down for the Regina Pats, who lead the Swift Current Broncos three games to two in their opening round WHL playoff series. The Pats came out flat - and stayed that way - in dropping a 3-2 home ice decision Friday night. The home team had a chance to eliminate the visitors, but were unable - or unwilling - to close the deal. The Pats were absolutely horrible in their own zone, regularly coughing up the puck under aggressive forechecking.

Give the Broncos some credit, though. Faced with elimination, they were aggressive, played with a sense of desperation, and received top-notch goaltending from Kyle Moir. Next stop, Speedy Creek for game six on Sunday night. As the doctor who delivered the Dionne quintuplets said, "Don't go anywhere, this isn't over yet."

Like you said, the Pats came out flat.......again on home ice!!!!!!!!!!. Worrisome fact is that the Pats have played two of three games at home poorly and won only once.
They could have ended this thing in game two or game five. You have to assume that the Swift will win one home game in the series, Moir has picked up his game and Pats don't have a killer mentality. Most fans are pretty damned disgusted with the turn of events.
The teams leaders were p-ss poor and most of the team were not ready to play this game as they were already getting ready for the next series.
The coaching staff is fully to blame for these last two home losses regardless of what anyone says. most of these kids have never been in this situation before, so you count on your coaching staff to have them ready. They have failed the last two times at home. They have turned what should have been a four or five game series into a seven game series, and are now trying to cover it with cliches. Losing two out of three here, do the Pats really feel good about a game seven here?...no one here does. It is pure bullsh_t that it has been allowed to get this far. They have allowed the Broncos to pick themselves up from the canvas...twice. That usually spells disaster.
