2.   A Regina-based umpire is inducted into the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame. Guest: Elemer Jerkovits (2020 Inductee). 

3.   What will Football Canada’s national summit mean for amateur football in Regina and Saskatchewan? Guest: Luc Mullinder (Football Canada board member).

Locker Talk lineup for October 14

Looking for an alternative to political coverage tonight? Why not tune in (or set your pvr) for some great local sports coverage tonight on Access Now tv? The show is #LockerTalk, and it hits the airwaves at 6:00 tonight, and repeats each weeknight at the same time. You don't even have to wear a mask!

1. Professional curling returns to Regina, for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic hit, with the Saskatchewan Men’s Super Series at the Highland Club. Guest: Matt Dunstone (Skip – Team Dunstone). 

2. Football Canada is holding a summit on the state/future of amateur football in our country. Guest: Jim Mullin (Football Canada President). 

3. Regina’s first family of flag football adds another championship to its impressive collection. Guests: Deron Kuski, Reilly Kuski, Andrew Kuski, Brayden Kuski & Ethan Kuski (Players - Storm) 

4. The University of Regina’s track and field team is practicing and training, with hopes of competing in the not too distant future. Guest: Wade Huber (Cougars head coach).

5. Hockey is back! The Saskatchewan Hockey Association, in conjunction with various provincial health organizations, has rolled out a plan for minor hockey across the province this winter. Guest: Kelly McClintock (SHA General Manager).

In these mixed-up, uncertain times, it's nice to know you can count on one thing. Locker Talk on Access Now will keep bringing you local sports coverage each and every week. Sure, it's a bit challenging with almost no actual sports going on, but we'll find a way!

1.   The University of Regina women’s soccer team is back on the practice pitch, but they won’t be playing games until at least next fall. Guest: Bob Maltman (Cougars Head Coach). 

2.   One of Regina’s top martial arts studios is back up and running, after shutting down in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Guests: Corey Pickering (Jishin Martial Arts Head Instructor), & Kaitlyn Pickering (Assistant instructor). 

3.   Access Now Sports Plays of the Month. For September.

4.   The University of Regina men’s hockey team has resumed practicing, in hopes of launching the 2020/21 season in the not-too-distant future. Guest: Todd Johnson (Cougars Head Coach).

5.   The U of R women’s hockey team is also back on the ice, hoping that the 2020/21 season will go ahead. Guest: Kaitlyn Crowe (Cougars captain).
