Locker Talk lineup for January 29

4. A pair of Riffel Royals high school football teammates will become competitors in the fall. Guests: Ethan Ball (U of C Dinos WR) & Hunter Bohay (Regina Rams RB).

5. February will be a busy month for the Saskatchewan speed skating community, including a long track competition in Regina this coming weekend. Guest: Jordan St. Onge (Sask Speed Skating Executive Director).

Locker Talk lineup for January 15

Sure, it's bitterly cold outside. So why not gather the family together tonight and bask in the warm glow of Regina's favourite one hour television program devoted entirely to local sports? Yes, a new episode of Locker Talk hits the Access 7 (HD 70) airwaves tonight at 6:00 and repeats each weeknight at the same time. Check it out, and spring will be here before you know it.

1. Lots of elite level curling will be happening in southern Saskatchewan over the next few weeks, with men’s and women’s provincials in Melville this month, followed by the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Moose Jaw in February. Guest: Ashley Howard (CurlSask Executive Director).

2. An update on an outstanding 2019/20 season for the midget AAA Regina Pat Canadians, including a big tournament win over the holidays. Guests: Kai Leggett (Assistant Coach), Johnny Carmichael (F) & Zach Cain (F).

3. Ringside. Locker Talk’s monthly look at the world of amateur and professional boxing, with host Frank Fiacco (Lonsdale Boxing Club President).

Welcome to the first Locker Talk episode of 2020! Of course, that means the announcement of our 2019 Regina Athlete of the Year, and lots of other great guests/local sports content. Join us at 6:00 tonight at Access channel 7 (HD 70) for our best show of the year (so far)! The show repeats at the same time each weeknight. Here's the lineup:

2. The Balfour Bears hope to end O’Neill’s dynasty in Regina high school wrestling in 2020. Guests: Steve Parisien (Bears Head Coach), Eve Neithercut & Paul Hotomani (Bears wrestlers).

3. Access 7 Sports Plays of the Month. For December.

4. Local power lifters posted some impressive results at the recent 2019 World Championships. Next, they get set to host the national and world championships in Regina in 2020. Guest: Lee Powell (Powerlifter/event organizer).
