The Slade saga continues out in Insanity by the Sea. Sounds like he was mad about not starting against the Pats. Tommy T was mad he didn't start against the Giants. Now the Giants want Tommy T back. And the world goes around and around.
The Pats might want to go slowly. The have some glaring needs and if they are seriously thinking about giving him back, they should move a couple others at the same time and get a guy or two they really need

Rod says Brent has been working the phones, and we can probably expect word of a deal (or two) as early as this week. That's a plus. It should be fairly obvious what the Pats need - let's just hope they can find the right fit. It'd be nice to have an experienced back-up, but I don't think its mandatory. So if Tommy T has to go - dem's da breaks.

Just listened to the Pats losing 3-0 to PG. Just bloody brutal. Can anybody score on the road? 8 periods = 0 goals. Rowatt has been the only bright spot for the Pats. Not one of the 20 yr old has scored a goal this trip so far.

Rhinehart has left the team and he was the only veteran stay at home D-man they had. They do not have a 19 yr old D-man. Trouble!

The Pats have a couple of goalie prospects they can use if they move Tommy T. They have had Neizner for a couple of years and were real big on him for a while. The one bright spot about all of that is that he is likely worth more now than when they got him.

Lind, Bernhardt, the Mcdonalds don't seem to be adding much to the team. The 20 yr olds had better get their ass's in gear soon. You need leadership on the road and the Pats have not had much this trip or the last trip to Alberta. They better have their hands over the panic button pretty damned quick or this season will get away from them. Prince Albert has picked Deckert back up, won two of three games and only 5 points behind the Pats...so much for a wire to wire first place team........500 is not so bad if you have low expectations like...well.....the Riders!
