SportZone lineup for March 19

Here's the lineup for this week's show, featuring a new addition to the co-host team. The show airs tonight (Wednesday) at 6 p.m. and Thursday at 3 p.m. on Access channel 7.

1. A post-mortem on the 2007/08 season for the University of Regina men’s hockey team. Guest: Blaine Sautner (Cougars Head Coach).

2. Balfour Collegiate wrestlers capture gold at provincials, including the 5A boy’s team championship. Guests: Ryan Bellamy (Head Coach), Kirk Ackerman & Jasmine Slinn (Provincial gold medalists).

3. The Regina Speed Skating Club will host the 2009 national long-track championships. Guests: Alexandra Sutter (RSSC President) & Kali Christ (Speed skater).

4. The Leboldus Golden Suns capture the city high school boy’s 5A basketball championship. Guests: Wade Bartlett (Head Coach), Keith Yalowega & Dylan Puscus (Players).

5. A post-mortem on the 2007/08 season for the Regina Pat Canadians midget AAA hockey club. Guests: Bill Gibson (Team Manager) & Derek Tendler (Goaltender).

6. A U of R athlete is named top female athlete at the CIS championships, and her coach is headed to the Olympics! Guests: Carla Nicholls (Cougar track coach) & Janine Polischuk (Cougar track star).

7. The U of R women’s basketball team captures a silver medal at the CIS championships, and aims even higher for next year. Guest: Dave Taylor (Cougars Head Coach).
